Lanier Spotted Bass

On a summertime trip to Georgia's Lake Lanier, Shaw relies on a one-two punch for the spotted bass these scenic waters produce so abundantly. First, with a topwater, he foils schooling spots feeding on the surface, and later when action subsides he switches quickly to a drop-shot rig to pry fish from the bottom and mid-depths. His sonar unit plays a big part in finding and fooling these deeper fish, and he shows how to make maximum use of this visual aid.
